Bouldering at Enchanted Forest

Enchanted Forest is a bouldering area which is being developed in the Barossa Ranges and is proving to be immensely popular with local Boulderers.

It is located within the Kaiserstuhl Native Forest Reserve (Part of the Mt Crawford Forest Reserve) which backs onto the Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park. It is located East of Tanunda and a map of access points can be download here. Enchanted_Forest_Area_Access_2014_01

The Wonderland area with the two boulders Tweedledum and Tweedledee is very popular, you can find more information about available problems on the 27 Crags website. At the moment there are two areas documented, follow the links to  Wonderland and Enchanted Forest.

Problems range from V0 to V7 on varying quality of rock, but there is scope for plenty more.

The crag is family friendly and the park is a well known Mountain Bike area.

The reserve is closed on Total Fire Ban Days please check with Forestry SA before accessing the area. it is possible to camp in the park in certain seasons with  a permit.
